The 2023 Summer Skills sessions commenced yesterday evening 3rd July & will continue to run each week on Monday evenings from 6 - 7pm, for the duration of the school summer holidays period.

We had 30+ boys & girls taking part in this action packed, fun, skills based session.

As the weeks progress we will be teaching & finessing the following skill sets:

Ground strike

Jab & roll lifts

Striking from hand

Blocking of strikes from hand

Included in each weeks skills sessions will also be fun activities, games, team building & bonding events to accompany the finer arts of hurling & camogie.

Special thanks to all the coaches of both the boys & girls U8 groups (including various other age grade coaches) who have kindly volunteered to support this annual club initiative. Here's to a long an successful summer of hurling & camogie learning & fun.
