Game 1 of the U13 Imokilly Camogie league saw Erins Own travel to the new Midleton astro to take on a very physical Midleton side.
Today marked a very special occasion for the club with the girls lining out in the new jerseys which are now sponsored by Mickio's.
In very blustery condition we held our own in the first half with some strong performances down the spine of the team & scoring remained low for both teams.
Erins Own played into a strong wind in the second half & Midleton ran out winners in the end.
The squad now prepare for the games to come. Up next is a home tie against our neighbours Sars, followed by games against Watergrasshill, St. Catherines & Castlemartyr.
